We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and implement AI solutions that drive automation, enhance data accuracy, and streamline decision-making processes. This role involves working in a hybrid team structure, collaborating with in-house developers, consultants, external vendors, and reviewing outputs from automated tools while ensuring AI solution quality and providing technical guidance on AI architecture and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered agents to automate business processes including Preprocessing & Parsing Agents, Indexing and Retrieval Agents, and Action-Based and Finalizing Agents for validation and calculations
- Build and optimize Agentic RAG systems for knowledge retrieval and AI-driven insights using cloud-based AI platforms like Azure AI
- Create APIs and services to enable AI functionalities across different applications while integrating with existing platforms and business applications
- Lead reviews of AI solutions developed by consultants, external vendors, and automated tools, establishing and enforcing AI development standards and technical best practices
- Evaluate and validate AI model outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with business requirements
- Optimize AI solutions for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness within cloud-based environments and improve based on feedback and real-world data
- Ensure AI solutions align with regulatory, compliance, and responsible AI best practices
- Provide technical guidance on AI architecture and implementation across development initiatives
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development, with a focus on generative AI
- Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks such as CrewAI, LangChain or Semantic Kernel
- Hands-on experience with LLMs (Large Language Models), and vector databases for RAG applications
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and Gen AI Ops best practices
- Experience with API development and integration of AI models into production systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to articulate AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Desired Attributes:
- Experience in financial services, private equity, or fund administration
- Preferred: Understanding of knowledge management and intelligent document processing frameworks.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with agentic AI workflows and business process automation.
- Preferred: Experience leading AI development in hybrid team environments.
The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offer within that range will depend on the candidateβs experience level.
Work Arrangement

This position will work a hybrid work schedule from our New York or Denver offices, comprised of four (4) days a week in our office and one (1) day remote.
