Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cybersecurity Operation Analyst Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber security threats in a real-world environment. You will work alongside experienced security professionals and gain exposure to industry-standard tools and practices.



Responsibilities
  • Assist in the triage, investigation and analysis of security incidents.
  • Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.
  • Help maintain and update documentation and playbooks.
  • Participate in daily threat briefings and team meetings.
  • Stay current with emerging threats and cybersecurity trends.
     


Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or greater depending on department and role.
  • None, though some administrative exposure is a plus

 

Strongly Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles
  • Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, or endpoint protection is a plus).
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • A passion for cybersecurity and a desire to learn and grow in the field of application security.
  • This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in Cybersecurity operation (SOC) and a chance to contribute to the protection of critical systems.
