DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cybersecurity Operation Analyst Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber security threats in a real-world environment. You will work alongside experienced security professionals and gain exposure to industry-standard tools and practices.
Responsibilities- Assist in the triage, investigation and analysis of security incidents.
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.
- Help maintain and update documentation and playbooks.
- Participate in daily threat briefings and team meetings.
- Stay current with emerging threats and cybersecurity trends.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or greater depending on department and role.
- None, though some administrative exposure is a plus
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, or endpoint protection is a plus).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- A passion for cybersecurity and a desire to learn and grow in the field of application security.
