Reporting to the Research & Development division, your work will be crucial in bridging evidence-based medical decision support with stakeholders to enhance health and treatment outcomes. Whether you are developing frameworks to ensure our evidence is scientifically robust, providing unbiased and medically necessary expertise, or investigating ways to close data gaps, your role is vital. By connecting evidence-based support with colleagues and stakeholders, we aim to achieve better health outcomes.

Your work in creating scientifically sound frameworks, offering unbiased expertise, and addressing data gaps is essential to our mission of empowering healthcare decisions for patient safety and appropriate medicine use.

HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities and translate needs into product requirements and roadmaps.

  • Define product vision, use cases, success metrics, and prioritization frameworks.

  • Manage AI accelerator development from ideation through deployment and adoption.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across AI/ML, engineering, SMEs and end users.

  • Drive user engagement, pilot execution, feedback collection, product refinement.

  • Develop compelling product narratives and communicate progress to leaders and stakeholders.

  • Help ensure responsible AI principles, trust, usability and measurable impact are embedded in solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 8+ years of experience.

  • Demonstrated strong communication skills on cross functional projects.

  • Ability to provide AI product development leadership to cross-functional teams at both data and software levels.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for successful collaboration with colleagues and associates both within and outside the organization.

  • Proficiency in Pfizer Digital systems.

  • Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity.

  • Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, includingrisk management and ethical use.

Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree with at least 7+ years of experience; OR a PhD with 5+ years of experience, OR a MD with 4+ years of experience.

  
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  • If you are currently in a driving position with a fleet vehicle and this secondment does not require driving as an essential function of the position for 12 months or longer, you will be required to turn in your fleet vehicle for the duration of the non-driving secondment.  Please refer to the Fleet Policy and Procedures document for more information.

  • There will be no change to your current work location.

  • Position is considered Flexible, and colleagues are expected to comply with Log In For Your Day (LIFYD) requirements at site location (e.g. about 2.5 days a week in office).
