Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Support & Systems Administrator to join our Technology team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and efficiency. You will provide essential technical support to our team of consultants and operational staff, enabling them to perform their roles effectively in a fast-paced, professional services environment. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, security-conscious, and possesses excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Maintain and administer core IT infrastructure including Windows Servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi).
- Cloud Services: Manage and support our Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Azure AD, Intune).
- User Support: Provide timely and effective 1st and 2nd line technical support to end-users (both in-office and remote) for hardware, software, network connectivity, printers, mobile devices, and AV equipment.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security measures, including patch management, antivirus deployment, firewall configuration and user access control. Ensure adherence to data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and company security policies.
- Application Support: Support and troubleshoot core business applications, including the Microsoft Office suite, communications and CRM/ATS platform.
- Disaster Recovery: planning and testing.
- Asset Management: Maintain an inventory of IT hardware, software licenses, and manage procurement requests.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, and user guides.
- Project Support: Assist with IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in a System Administrator or similar IT support role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022).
- Network Management (Palo Alto, Cisco Meraki).
- Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Azure AD).
- Experience with virtualisation technologies (Azure).
- Demonstrable experience providing desktop support (Windows 10/11, macOS is a plus) and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
- Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Β

- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working within a professional services, recruitment, or executive search environment.
- Experience with MacOS troubleshooting/administration.
- Direct experience administering recruitment CRM/ATS systems like Ezekia, Invenias or Clockwork.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (e.g., Intune).
- Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Experience work with Automation tools and APIs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
