Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $99,000.00 - $150,750.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

What you will be doing

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong experience in Arista Networks products, Arista switch migrations, and cloud networking technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, migrating, and supporting high-performance, scalable network infrastructures across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise and data center network solutions using Arista switches and EOS
  • Lead and execute Arista switch migrations, including planning, testing, cutover, and post-migration support
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking (VLANs, BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN)
  • Deploy and maintain cloud networking solutions in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Integrate on-premises networks with cloud environments using VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, or equivalent
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and security, ensuring high reliability and uptime
  • Automate network operations using tools such as Ansible, Python, or APIs (preferred)
  • Collaborate with security, cloud, and systems teams to ensure network best practices and compliance
  • Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
  • Provide troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex network issues

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • 3–7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Arista switches and Arista EOS
  • Proven experience performing Arista switch migrations in production environments
  • Strong understanding of data center networking concepts
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet, or GCP networking)
  • In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, VXLAN, EVPN)
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and performance optimization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Arista certifications (ACE, ACE-A, ACE-L)
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with network automation and Infrastructure as Code
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and network security best practices

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

  • Hybrid / Remote / On-site (customize as applicable)
