About the Role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise-scale AI and data analytics platforms. This is a highly hands-on role focused on infrastructure automation, platform reliability, security, and scalability.

You will work closely with software, data, and machine learning engineers to ensure systems remain secure, efficient, and highly available while enabling teams to move quickly through modern DevOps practices and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt).
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and infrastructure deployments.
• Own platform reliability through monitoring, observability, incident management, and performance optimization.
• Implement and maintain GitOps workflows across infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Ensure infrastructure aligns with security and compliance requirements, including IAM, secrets management, SOC 2, and GDPR standards.
• Optimize cloud resources and costs while maintaining performance and reliability.
• Create internal tooling, automation, and documentation to improve developer productivity.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support platform growth and operational excellence.
• Mentor team members and contribute to infrastructure strategy and best practices.

Requirements

• 4–7+ years of industry experience, including at least 4 years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.
• Strong experience managing AWS production environments.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Kubernetes experience, preferably Amazon EKS.
• Deep expertise in Terraform, Terragrunt, and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python and Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and scalability principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing security and compliance frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, and incident response practices.
• Experience supporting AI/ML workloads or GPU-based infrastructure.
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies and advanced cloud networking.
• Experience working with enterprise SaaS or multi-tenant cloud environments.
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and FinOps methodologies.
• Previous startup or founder experience is highly valued.
